Bhujyo Bhattacharya is a particle phenomenologist interested in the fundamental properties of matter and interactions. Together with his undergraduate students, he is currently working to uncover the properties of new particles that have been theorized to explain the matter-antimatter asymmetry problem of our universe, such as axion-like particles. His research is supported by an award from the National Science Foundation, allowing him to foster student participation in cutting-edge research. Bhattacharya is also devoted to developing pedagogical tools for a transformative laboratory experience for intro-physics students, work that is supported by a grant from the KEEN foundation through St. Louis University.
